This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use, why, and how you can control them. It applies alongside the Privacy Policy.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your choices, or measure how it is used.
In this policy “cookies” also covers equivalent local storage technologies, such as localStorage.
When we ask for your consent
Necessary cookies are set without consent, because without them the site does not work. That is the only exempt category.
Every other cookie is set only after you explicitly allow it. Until you answer, no third-party script loads at all, not even in a dormant form.
Rejecting limits nothing about your access to the content. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, in the same button style.
The categories we use
Necessary: they hold your answer to the cookie question, so we do not ask again on every page.
Analytics: they show us in aggregate which pages are read and where the visit came from, so we can improve the content. The IP address is anonymised.
Marketing: they measure how our ads perform. They are only enabled while we run an advertising campaign, and only if you allow it.
Google Analytics and Consent Mode
For analytics we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Google's script does not load at all before you give consent.
We implement Google Consent Mode v2: the storage parameters stay “denied” until you approve them, and are updated the moment you change your mind.
If you withdraw consent, we tell Google that storage is not allowed and delete the related cookies from your device.
How to change or withdraw your consent
The “Cookies” link in the footer of every page reopens the settings dialog. The change takes effect immediately.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings. Deleting the cookie that holds your choice means we will ask you again.
Your choice is stored for six months. After that we ask for your consent again.
What we do not do
We use no advertising pixels, we build no user profiles and we sell no data to third parties.
Fonts are served by us. No visit is reported to a third-party network merely because you opened the page.
