Funkies – Custom E-commerce Platform
A custom e-commerce project designed and developed in Next.js specifically for Funkies, combining tailored UI/UX, a mobile-first shopping experience, and independent workflows and control mechanisms built around the unique requirements of the project.
nexdev.gr designed and developed the new e-commerce experience for Funkies, creating a custom solution that does not rely on a ready-made template or predefined design structure.
The frontend was developed in Next.js, with the entire UI/UX designed specifically around the Funkies brand identity and its commercial requirements. Particular attention was given to performance, mobile usability, intuitive navigation and search, as well as the effective presentation of products, collections and promotional campaigns.
Beyond the customer-facing experience, a significant part of the project involved the platform’s underlying functionality. We developed custom processes, independent workflows and dedicated control mechanisms, specifically designed around the operational requirements of this project.
This approach allows individual functions and processes to operate and be controlled independently, without limiting the e-commerce experience to the standard capabilities or logic of an off-the-shelf system.
The result is a modern e-commerce platform combining custom design, Next.js development and tailored business logic, providing Funkies with a flexible technical foundation that can continue to evolve alongside the brand.
